Termux Status – Monitor Android System Information

Install Termux Status Tool

Below are the simple commands to download and run Termux Status tool. Copy and run each command one by one.

Install Python and wget.

pkg install python wget -y

Install the required psutil package.

pkg install python-psutil -y

Install required python module.

pip install rich

Download the status.py file.

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AhmarZaidi/termux-status/main/status.py

Run Termux Status.

python status.py

It will open a system monitoring dashboard in the terminal.

Use Termux Status in Tool

After running the tool, it displays a system overview with different sections for your device.

The main screen shows:

  • CPU – Displays current CPU usage.
  • Memory – Shows RAM usage.
  • Storage – Displays used and available storage.
  • Battery – Shows battery information.
  • Network – Displays upload and download activity.
  • Device – Shows your device model and Android version.
  • CPU Cores – Shows the number of CPU cores.
  • CPU Frequency – Displays the current CPU frequency.
  • Memory Total – Shows the total available RAM.
  • Memory Used – Shows the amount of RAM currently being used.
  • Storage Total – Shows total device storage.
  • Storage Free – Shows available storage.
  • IP Address – Displays the available IP address information.

Navigation

You can use the keyboard to move through different sections of the monitor.

  • ↑ / ↓ – Switch between tabs.
  • Enter – Open the file explorer or edit settings.
  • ← / → – Change setting values.
  • Esc – Exit the file explorer.
  • r – Reset settings to default.
  • q – Quit the monitor.
